WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's track & field team heads into the second meet of 2023 after taking fourth place at MSJ last weekend. The Quakers will make way to Wittenberg University for the annual Steemer Showcase.         

The Schedule: Field events begin at 11:00 AM with running events shooting off at noon.

The Competition: The Quakers will go head-to-head against a plethora of Division III teams. 

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 25th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Lexi Grice is coming off of a great week after taking first in weight throw and third in shotput last weekend. Madison Dietz will continue her senior season in the pit as she competes in both triple and long jump. Kylee Schafer took first in the 200-meter dash last weekend and will look to lead the way for the sprint squad.
