DELAWARE- The Wilmington College women's track and field team competed in a nine-team invitational at Otterbein University on Saturday. High finishes from several athletes helped the Fightin' Quakers to capture sixth place with 42 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Junior Lauren Stacy (Bethel, OH/Western Brown) clenched the two highest finishes for the team, finishing second in the shot put with a put of 12.74m and second in the weight throw with a distance of 14.60m.

The next highest finish came from freshman Anna Burke (Hilliard, OH/Darby). Burke finished third in the 60-meter hurdles final, clocking in with a 10.05.

The 4x200-meter relay team of senior Angela Dorsett (Pittsburgh, PA/West Mifflin), sophomore Brooklyn Payne (Chicago, IL/Chicago Agricultural School), Burke, and freshman Kacey Burns (Milford Center, OH/Fairbanks) claimed a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:56.26.

Senior Stephanie Fetters (West Milton, OH/Milton-Union) rounded out the high finishes by achieving a fifth-place finish in the 1000m run with a time of 3:48.35.
