Women's Swimming Qualifies for 2018 Fall CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's swimming team has qualified for the College Swimming Coaches of America (CSCAA)'s Scholar All-America Team Award for the fall semester that concluded last calendar year.

In order to be considered for the award, teams must carry a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the fall semester. During the fall of 2018, the Fightin' Quaker women boasted a 3.45 team GPA.

"The coaching staff is as excited for the team's success in the classroom as we are for the success they have in the pool," Head Women's Swimming Coach Trip Breen said. "Finding a great balance is what this experience is all about. A team GPA of 3.6 takes a total team effort. We are truly proud of them!"

The women's swimming team concludes its 2018-19 season with a fifth-place finish in the highly competitive Ohio Athletic Conference.
