Women's Swimming Opens New Year at Manchester Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team kicks off the New Year with a dual meet at Manchester University on Saturday afternoon. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 20th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: At the Wilmington's last meet, the Corbiere-Merion Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) on Nov. 18, 2018, Margaret Hover recorded a time of 20:09.22 in the 1,650-yard free style while Kassidy Rogers finished the 100-yard IM in 1:10.57. Macki Leon, Maryn Herring and Hover all placed in multiple Fightin' Quaker relay teams at OWU.
