Bob Dessecker

Bob Dessecker has been an assistant coach of the women’s soccer team since 1998. His primary duties for the squad are to provide scouting reports on potential soccer recruits and scouting reports on future WC opponents.

Dessecker was a high school coach for 13 years before coming to Wilmington. He was an assistant at Northmont High School from 1984 until 1989 from where he was promoted to varsity coach from 1990-93. During his tenure at Northmont, he was involved in four state championship teams. In his 13 years as high school coach, his teams have never had a losing season. He also was the varsity coach at Springboro High School from 1995 to 1997.

“Bob is our chief scout. He does a lot of our recruiting during the fall, spring and summer,” Head Coach Steve Spirk said.

Dessecker resides in Beavercreek. He is retired from LexisNexis.
