Wrestling To Compete at Ohio Northern on Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team will compete at the Ohio Northern University Invitational on Saturday.

The Teams: Wilmington will be joined by host Ohio Northern along with Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) member Otterbein University and the following NCAA Division III schools: Adrian College, Alma College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Olivet College, Thomas More College, Trine University and Washington & Lee University. Campbellsville University and Tiffin University will also compete in the invitational.

The Coach: Justin Kihn enters his first season as Wilmington's head wrestling coach. A 2016 graduate of Heidelberg, Kihn finished fourth nationally in the 141-pound weight class and earned All-American honors as a senior.

The Players: The Quakers will have five individuals - Gabe Obregon (133 pounds), Issa Khalil (197 pounds) and Seth Jermer (285 pounds) competing in various weight classes in the open. Khalil finished fifth at the Baldwin Wallace Invitational earlier this month, marking the first tournament finish for a Fightin' Quaker since the program was reinstated at the beginning of this season.
