Savannah Hooper enters her second season as an assistant softball coach at Wilmington College for the 2020 season. She also served as an assistant coach with the WC women's basketball program this winter.
Alongside Head Coach Beth Floyd, Hooper helped guide the Fightin' Quakers to an 18-14 overall record in 2019, the program's second winning season in 20 years. Additionally, Wilmington's 6-12 OAC record is the second-best (8-10 in 2014) record in Wilmington's 19 years in the league.
A four-year member of the softball program, Hooper is the program's career leader in average at .381 (159-of-417) along with being in the top 10 of multiple other career stats lines. She also was a member of the women's basketball program at Wilmington.
