AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - The Wilmington College softball team has been picked to finish in a tie for sixth place in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) for the upcoming 2020 season as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Muskingum University and Baldwin Wallace University were picked as favorites to win the league as all but one coach votes either of the two to place first. Otterbein University picked up the other first place vote. Ohio Northern University finished with two points less, and were followed by the University Mount Union and the Wilmington-Marietta College tie. Wilmington, since joining the OAC prior to the 2001 softball season, has never been picked to finish this high. The Quakers' 2020 season gets underway with 10 games in five days in Fort Myers, Florida, on March 8-12.
