Men's Track & Field To Compete in Indoor All-Ohio Meet Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's track and field team will compete at the Indoor All-Ohio Meet hosted by Otterbein University on Saturday. The meet is scheduled to begin at noon.

The Teams: All NCAA Division III institutions located in the state of Ohio are scheduled to compete in the meet.

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 19th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's track and field teams. Combs has been named Coach of the Year, twice by the Heartland Athletic Conference, and once by the OAC. In 2002, he led the men's indoor team to a sixth-place finish at NCAA DIII Championships.

Who to Watch: Evan Whitaker will compete in the 5000 meter run seeded in 21st place with a time of 15:40.04. Whitaker joins Cameron Phelps, Elliot Phillimore and Taton Bertsch for the distance medley relay, the Fightin' Quaker relay team is seeded in seventh place with a time of 10:59.63. Luke Richardson, Aaron Koch, Elorm Dogbey and Adam Knaub make up the Quaker 4x200 meter relay team which is seeded in ninth place with a time of 1:35.75. Dogbey, Koch, Bertsch and Knaub form the Quaker 4x400 team and are seeded in 11th place with a time of 3:33.16.
