Ashten Forde

Ashten Forde

Ashten Forde is in his second season as assistant coach for the Wilmington College men's soccer program in 2019.

He assisted Head Coach Alex Van der Sluijs in guiding the Fightin' Quakers to a 9-8-0 campaign in 2018. Additionally,  mentored Niklas Martensson to one of the best individual offensive performances in the NCAA era (1991-present).

A graduate of Defiance College, Forde played for four seasons under current Wilmington Head Coach Alex Van der Sluijs where he was a part of one of the most successful teams in over a decade and was a senior captain. He graduated from Defiance in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.

Forde was a varsity high school player for two seasons at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin in Chardon, Ohio, and two seasons for Euclid High School where he captained the team.

In addition to college ball, Forde competed for Swedish sides FC Pars (Orebro, Sweden) and Yxhults Fc (Kumla, Sweden) and well as earning a trial with German side SV Tasmania in Berlin.

He resides in Wilmington.
