Markus Eriksson enters his fourth year of his second stint as an assistant men's soccer coach at Wilmington College in 2019.

He assisted Head Coach Alex Van der Sluijs in guiding the Fightin' Quakers to a 9-8-0 campaign in 2018. Additionally, Eriksson mentored Niklas Martensson to one of the best individual offensive performances in the NCAA era (1991-present).

A 2000 graduate of Wilmington, Eriksson played for former Head Coach Bud Lewis from 1996-99. He played on the Fightin' Quakers' first two teams to qualify for the NCAA Division III Tournament (1996 and 1999) including playing on the 1996 squad that reached the "Sweet 16". 

Eriksson was previously a youth coach at Inferno Soccer Club from 2007-09. Before that, he served his first tree years as an assistant coach at Wilmington from 2005-07. Finally, he spent three seasons with Wilmington High School's boys' soccer program from 2000-02.
