Felix Maurer recently completed his first season as an assistant coach at Wilmington College in 2022.
In his first season on the sidelines, Maurer aided Head Coach Cory Bucur in guiding the Quakers to a 12-6-3 overall record and the program's first appearance in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament championship game in 16 seasons. Additionally, Maurer coached freshman goalkeeper Thomas Grimes to Third Team All-OAC honors.
Maurer is no stranger to the men's soccer program having started 62 of a possible 63 games in net over a four-year career spanning from 2018-2021. He carried a 1.19 goals against average, made 209 saves and concluded his playing career with a 36-19-6 record. Maurer, who graduated from WC with a degree in business administration in the spring of 2022, is fourth in program history in shutouts with 17.
He resides in Wilmington.
