Robbie Brown finished his third season with the Wilmington College football program in 2021-22. He serves the Fightin’ Quakers as safeties' coach and coordinating the defensive passing scheme as well as the program's academic coordinator.

In 2022, Brown worked with defensive coordinator Corey Fillipovich to turn an 0-8 start into two wins to end the season including 24-21 at Capital University on Senior Day and 37-33 at Otterbein University in the season finale. His top safety, Tre'Quez Parks, garned Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors and left the program fourth in career tackles with 376.

In his first three years, Brown aided then-Head Coach Bryan Moore in leading theQuakers to their best season in a decade in 2019 that included a homecoming victory over Ohio Northern University 42-38 in September and consecutive victories to end the season over Capital University on Senior Day and at Otterbein University. In the shortened 2021 spring season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brown helped a defensive unit improve in nearly every statistical category including most notably: points allowed (41.4 to 27.6), yards allowed (438 to 309) and rushing yards allowed (197 to 86). Tavion Bryant earned the Gene Slaughter Award as the OAC's top linebacker.

Brown came to Wilmington from Oberlin College where he spent the 2017 season as defensive backs coach. Along with coaching his position group, Brown assisted with the special teams game plan as well as coordinating visits for the program. He is recruiting responsibilities included the city of Columbus and surrounding counties and the New England region.

Prior to Oberlin, Brown was a defensive backs coach at North Carolina Wesleyan for two seasons and aided the Battling Bishops to consecutive five-win campaigns. He coached two Defensive Rookie of the Week honorees as well as monitored academic progress of his student-athletes.

Brown earned his master’s degree in business administration from Defiance College in 2015. As a graduate student, he worked with the Yellow Jacket defensive backs as well as serving the program as video coordinator.

He graduated from Ohio Dominican University in 2011 with a degree in sport management. Brown was a four-year member of ODU's football team and won the MSFA Mid East Championship in 2007.

Brown and his wife Anna reside in Wilmington.
