Tavion Bryant Named All-American by D3Football.comJune 21, 2021Tavion Bryant, a senior on the Wilmington College football team, earned a spot on the Second Team Defense as D3Football.com released its All-America teams on Monday.

Nine Quakers Garner All-OAC HonorsMay 03, 2021For special awards, senior linebacker Tavion Bryant was named the Gene Slaughter Award winner and Associate Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Corey Fillipovich garnered Assistant Coach of the Year honors. Itika Wynn, Caleb Deaver and Brandon Weaver garnered All-OAC Offensive recognition while Bryant and Tre’Quez Parks were named to the All-OAC defensive team. Additionally, a trio of Fightin’ Quakers – Ace Taylor, Xzerious Stinnett and Jarod Lee – earned Honorable Mention All-OAC honors.

Kyle Barrett Named OAC Football Offensive Player of the WeekMarch 16, 2021Barrett, a native of Columbus, Ohio, and a graduate of Beechcroft High School, completed 25-of-43 for 379 yards and two touchdowns along with six rushes for 18 yards and a touchdown. Perhaps most impressive, Barrett engineered a 16-play, 99-yard drive late in the fourth quarter to score the game-winning touchdown in a 26-21 victory over Capital University in the season-opener.

The conference is committed to collaboration in 2021 to allow the affected sports to compete safely in 2021.
