The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is sponsoring an event, Trick or Treat – So others can eat, on Thursday, October 29.

Members of various teams will be out in local neighborhoods collecting canned goods that will be taken to Our Father’s Kitchen.

“I believe that being involved in the community is very important, not just as an organization – but as members of the this community,” said SAAC President Reid Delaney. “SAAC gives us the opportunity to do so, and trick or treat event allows us to be involved while making a difference.”

Tentative plans have for groups of student-athletes to visit the Southridge area, the Country Oaks area and the Timberglen area.
