WC Top 30 revealed, Week Six

We are down to the final two weeks of unveiling the Top 30 returning student-athletes for the 2014-15 school year. After the entire list, you will get the opportunity to go to social media to rank your Top 10.


Tarrell Starckey – Football
Starckey led the Ohio Athletic Conference in tackling with 126 last season en route to being named First Team All-OAC. He added a single-game record 22 tackles against Marietta. The junior transfer made the most of his first season at Wilmington. 



R.J. Leppert – Men’s Basketball
Leppert will be asked to have a bigger role in his final season. He earned second team All-OAC after averaging 13.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in helping the Fightin’ Quakers win the OAC championship.


Jake Simpkins – Men’s Cross Country
Simpkins in the top returning distance runner for the men’s cross country and track teams. He earned All-OAC honors as part of the 4x800 relay.


Camille Gentile – Women’s Soccer
Gentile was a second team All-OAC and third team All-Ohio winner last season. She finished with three goals, two of which were the game-winners. However, her expertise is helping WC control the midfield.


David Hawk – Men’s Swimming
Hawk, a junior, has his name all over the WC record books as he a part of four record-owning relay teams – 400 medley, 200 freestyle, 200 medley and the 400 freestyle.


Addie Roberts – Women’s Swimming
Roberts could be the top women’s returning swimmer. A versatile swimmer, she is a part of the 800 freestyle relay that owns a school record. Usually a distance freestyle, she also swam shorter distances this past season.
