WC Top 30 revealed, Week Four

WC Top 30 revealed, Week Four

We are four weeks into revealing the Top 30 returning student-athletes and after the next four - we will be almost halfway through. Volleyball, baseball and women’s lacrosse have already had their one representative revealed, while the first two men’s soccer players and the first men’s basketball player comes off the board.


Sarah Murphy – Track/Cross Country
Murphy fought through injuries all season, but culminated her season by earning All-OAC honors in the 400 hurdles. She finished third with a time of 1:08.18. 



Daniel Wicks – Men’s Soccer
A two-time All-OAC honoree, Wicks returns for his final season on the pitch. His steady force in the midfield is pivotal to Wilmington’s success. He was one of three players to lead the team with five goals and was second on the team with 13 points. 


Nick Toney – Men’s Soccer
Toney could make a bigger impact on the soccer field this season. A transfer from Division I Northern Kentucky University, the forward led the team with 14 points (five goals, 4 assists). He earned honorable mention All-OAC honors in 2013.


Dwight Johnson – Men’s Basketball
Johnson played in all 28 games, making 17 starts for the OAC champion men’s basketball team. He led the team and was second in the OAC with 113 assists. With the graduation of six seniors, Johnson’s experience and leadership will be imperative to WC’s success.
