The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named men's basketball player Malcolm Heard II as its Player of the Week, for the period during Winter Break.

Heard II (Wilmington, OH/Wilmington) averaged 17.4 points and 8.4 rebounds in the five games over Winter Break. During that time, the Fightin' Quakers went 4-1 with the lone loss coming to No. 3 Illinois Wesleyan.

In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
