Fightin’ Quakers close out season at Great Lakes RegionalNovember 11, 2017POWELL, Ohio- Several members of the Wilmington College men’s and women’s cross country teams finished out the 2017 season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Meet hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday morning. The women did not field a whole team, as only three members of the team ran. The men, however, competed with five runners and finished 33rd out of 36 competing teams.

Women’s cross country ninth at OAC ChampionshipsOctober 28, 2017TIFFIN- The Wilmington College women’s cross country team competed in and finished ninth at the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championship Meet hosted by Heidelberg University on Saturday morning.

Helmke leads @DubC_XCTR women in JennaStrongOctober 13, 2017The Wilmington College women’s cross country team played host to the JennaStrong Fall Classic Friday afternoon. The annual meet honors fallen teammate Jenna Parlette who collapsed while in the lead of a race her junior year (2013). The event brought 32 teams, many individual runners, and Wilmington alumni to Wilmington’s campus this year. In the field, the Fightin’ Quakers finished 28th- two spots ahead of last year.

Hamm paces DubC_XCTR women at Eagle InviteOctober 06, 2017WARRENVILLE, IL- The Wilmington College women’s cross country team competed at the Benedictine University Eagle Invitational on Friday afternoon. Three freshmen and one sophomore represented the Fightin’ Quakers at the invitational, taking on their first-ever collegiate 6K race.

Helmke leads @DubC_XCTR womenSeptember 30, 2017LOUISVILLE, KY- The Wilmington College women’s cross country team competed in the Louisville Classic Cross Country Meet Saturday. In the ‘Other Division’ Silver category, the Fightin’ Quakers finished 30th with an average time of 23:14.23.

@DubC_XCTR women claim first in home tri-meetSeptember 07, 2017WILMINGTON- The Wilmington College women’s cross country team demonstrated their depth tonight in a home tri-meet against Thomas More College and Notre Dame College. With a team made up entirely of freshman and sophomore runners, the Fightin’ Quakers finished the meet in first-place, only one point ahead of the second-place team, Thomas More.

@DubC_XCTR women second in season openerSeptember 01, 2017NEW CONCORD- The Wilmington College women’s cross country team opened the 2017 season at the Muskingum invite tonight. The youthful Fightin’ Quakers team, made up entirely of freshmen and sophomore runners, finished the meet solidly in second-place with 48 points, 28 points ahead of the third-place team.
