WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College volleyball team continues Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. Senior Night match against Capital University. 

The Teams: Wilmington and Capital. The Fightin' Quakers are 7-12 on the season and dropped their OAC opener at John Carroll University on Saturday afternoon. The Comets are 8-10 overall and also dropped their OAC opener, 3-0 to Otterbein University on Saturday.

The Coaches: A new era of Wilmington volleyball has arrived Sophie Windover, a former collegiate player and assistant at Heidelberg University, enters her second season leading the program. She helped guide the Student Princes to a 21-8 record and an appearance in the AVCA Top 25 Poll. Rosanna Sguerra, formerly the head coach at Kenyon College, is in her first season as Capital's head coach.

The Players: Sofia Thomas averages 2.46 kills per set to lead the Wilmington offense while a trio of Quakers - Sydney Geibel, Sarah Brown and Joy Bebe - put down over 1.50 kills per set. Setter Andie Dolven dishes out 7.54 assists per set while libero Blake O'Brien is closing in on the single-season record for digs as the junior has 425 for the year for an average of 6.44 per set. The Capital offense features a trio of of attackers - Lindsay Rich, Linden Kunick, Alissa Holler - that average over two kills per set. Reagan Willoughby and Jordyn Hoffman split the setting duties and combine for over nine assists per set. 

Senior Day: Three seniors - Macee Hamilton, Sydney Geibel and Skylar Carmichael - will be celebrated prior to the match.
