WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College volleyball team hosts Anderson University (Indiana) for a non-conference contest on Wednesday evening. First serve from Fred Raizk Arena is slated for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Anderson. The Fightin' Quakers are 6-11 on the season having recently dispatched Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) member Defiance College in straight sets on Friday evening. The Ravens enter the matchup wtih an 8-5 record and, like WC, are looking to establish a winning streak after a sweep of Asbury University (Kentucky) at home on Saturday.

The Coaches: A new era of Wilmington volleyball has arrived Sophie Windover, a former collegiate player and assistant at Heidelberg University, enters her second season leading the program. She helped guide the Student Princes to a 21-8 record and an appearance in the AVCA Top 25 Poll. Tami Miller, a 1993 Anderson University alumna, is in her 19th season as the Ravens' head volleyball coach. She's the winningest coach in program history.

The Players: Sofia Thomas leads the Quakers' offense with 2.39 kills per set and 129 for the season. Sydney Geibel and Joy Bebe both down over 1.50 kills per set with Geibel set to record her 100th kill of the year with her next put down. Middle Bailey Pohlman leads the team in blocks with 0.75 per set and is coming off of consecutive four-block performances while setter Andie Dolven dishes out 7.20 assists per set. Libero Blake O'Brien, who is approaching 900 career digs, averages 6.16 per set. Two Ravens - Tess Perdue and Shaylen Perry - average over 2.50 kills per set while Kate Todd and Carmen Soloria share the settiing duties and combine for nearly 10 assists per set.
