Coach O'Brien on Amber: Amber had a significantly high number of attempts last year while carrying a majority of the offensive and serve receive load for us.  She will play an integral part in our season this year both from a ball control and offensive standpoint.

PERSONAL: Amber Deshae Rox was born June 26, 1998, the daughter of Pam Taylor and Sheldon Rox ... has three siblings Trinity, Hunter, and Evonnyia ... earned four varsity letters at Lawrenceburg High School, where she played for Staci Knigga

MAJOR: Accounting

FRESHMAN SEASON (2016): Named team MVP after leading the team with 233 kills ... started season with a career-high 18 kills and 18 digs against UC Clermont (9/1) ... recorded double-figure digs 11 times ... second on the team with 276 digs, including a career-high 22 against Berea (9/21).
