LEXINGTON, KY – The Wilmington College women's soccer team fell to Transylvania Friday in straight sets, 25-10, 25-15, 25-17, at the Beck Center in non-conference action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore Kara Short (Conover, OH/Fairlawn) finished with four kills on 11 attempts and was the lone Wilmington player with a positive hitting percentage.
- Sophomore Kennedy Harshaw (Xenia, OH/Xenia) tallied a team-high five kills on 29 attempts with seven errors.
- Senior Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) dished out a team-high 10 assists with three kills and eight digs.
- Sophomore Becca Harting (Farmersville, OH/Valley View) led the team with 13 digs.
- Wilmington didn't have a single set with a positive hitting percentage.
