Volleyball falls 3-0 to Otterbein

The Wilmington College volleyball team fell to Otterbein Tuesday in straight sets (25-13, 25-12, 25-19) at Fred Raizk Arena in Ohio Athletic Conference action.

Wilmington dropped to 2-23 overall, 0-6 in the OAC, while the Cardinals improved to 14-11 overall, 5-1 in the OAC.

Senior Ashley Miller (Arcanum, OH/Franklin Monroe) led the team with five kills and two solo blocks, while junior Tabby Biegler (Columbus, OH/Briggs) and freshman Eleanor Wildey (New Richmond, OH/New Richmond) recorded three kills each.

Junior Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) finished with a team-high 11 assists and nine digs. Sophomore Catlin Pauley (Kenton, OH/Kenton) added five digs and two blocks for Wilmington.

The Fightin' Quakers will round out the home portion of their schedule 1 p.m. Saturday, hosting #9 Mount Union. It will mark the final home game for Miller, Biegler, Emily Regan (Columbus, OH/Briggs) and McKenzie Kilburn (Huber Heights, OH/Wayne).
