Volleyball falls to OCU in straight sets

CIRCLEVILLE – The Wilmington College volleyball team fell to Ohio Christian Thursday in straight sets (25-11, 25-8, 25-20) in non-conference action.

Freshman Hannah Kockentiet (Alpha, OH/Dayton Christian) led the team with four kills on 11 attempts and just one error. Senior Ashley Miller (Arcanum, OH/Franklin Monroe) and freshman Kennedy Harshaw (Xenia, OH/Xenia) each had three kills for the Fightin' Quakers.

Sophomore Noel Cain (Dayton, OH/Archbishop Carroll) finished with a team-high eight assists, while junior Arian Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) added six assists and six digs.

Junior Emily Oberschlake (West College Corner, IN/Union County) led Wilmington with seven digs.

Wilmington (2-14) kicks off conference action 3 p.m. Saturday at John Carroll.
