Volleyball falls to Heidelberg, 3-0

TIFFIN – The Wilmington College volleyball team fell in Ohio Athletic Conference action with a straight set loss to Heidelberg, 25-21, 25-14, 25-10, Saturday at Seiberling Gynasium.

The Fightin' Quakers had eight kills in the first set with six and five kills in the second and third sets, respectively.

Sophomore Ariana Neff recorded a team-high nine assists as Wilmington had 18 assists on 19 kills. Freshman Catlin Pauley led the team with five kills, while sophomore Tabby Biegler and junior Natalie Sparks registered four kills each.

Sophomore Courtney Hurley had nine digs to lead Wilmington, while Biegler registered eight.

Wilmington (0-12 overall, 0-2 OAC) returns to Hermann Court 11 a.m. Saturday, hosting Muskingum.
