Volleyball drops four at Earlham

RICHMOND, IN – The Wilmington College volleyball team went 0-4 this past weekend at the Earlham Invitational.

They fell in straight sets to Franklin, 25-19, 25-14, 25-22, and then dropped a three-setter to Greenville, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16 on Friday. On Saturday, they fell to Michigan-Dearborn, 25-20, 25-13, 25-14, and then lost to Anderson, 25-19, 25-22, 25-15.

Sophomore Tabby Biegler (Columbus, OH/Briggs) led the team with 32 kills, hitting 1.25 on the weekend. She also has a team-high 58 digs for the Quakers. Junior Ashley Miller (Arcanum, OH/Franklin Monroe) added 22 kills and a team-high three blocks.

Sophomore Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) distributed 56 assists, while freshman Noel Cain (Dayton, OH/Archbishop Carroll) recorded 25 assists.

Wilmington (0-8) returns to the court 7 p.m. Wednesday, traveling to Franklin in non-conference action.
