Women's Swimming Hosts Mount Union in OAC Dual Friday Evening

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team takes to the Wilmington Natatorium for the final time this season on Friday as the Fightin' Quakers host the University of Mount Union in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) dual meet at 7 p.m.

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 20th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: The last time Wilmington swam in its natatorium (Nov. 10, 2018), Rebecca Curran won two individual events for the Fightin' Quakers including the 50-meter breaststroke (40.28) and the 100-meter breaststroke (1:27.57). Hannah Davis was also a multi-event winner for Wilmington, claiming the 50-meter freestyle (30.63) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:07.61). Rounding out the multi-event winners for the Quakers in that dual meet win over Hiram College was Maryn Herring as she won the 50-meter butterfly (34.37) and the 100-meter butterfly (1:16.63).

Senior Night: This meet marks the last home meet in the careers of Ellyse Herr and Rachel O'Donnell. A brief ceremony will be held prior to the meet beginning.
