Women's Swimming To Compete at Mid-Season Championship This Weekend

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's swimming team will travel to Ohio Wesleyan University for its mid-season championship meet Saturday and Sunday. 

The Coach: Trip Breen is in his 20th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Coach of the Year four times, the most recently in the 2016-17 season.

Who to Watch: The last meet for the Quakers was a dual meet against Hiram where Rebecca Curran won two individual events for the Fightin' Quakers including the 50-meter breaststroke (40.28) and the 100-meter breaststroke (1:27.57). Hannah Davis was also a multi-event winner for Wilmington, claiming the 50-meter freestyle (30.63) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:07.61). Rounding out the multi-event winners for the Quakers was Maryn Herring as she won the 50-meter butterfly (34.37) and the 100-meter butterfly (1:16.63).
