DELAWARE- The Wilmington College women's swimming team concluded the Corbiere-Merion Invitational at Ohio Wesleyan University on Sunday. The day consisted of one, timed-final session. The women finished the meet in third place with 525.5 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Session Three

Freshman Hannah Houston (Morrow, OH/Wilmington) captured the highest, individual finish for the Fightin' Quakers this session. Houston touched the wall fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.73.

Junior Samantha Glish (Louisville, KY/Ballard) earned the next highest, individual finish for the team, finishing fifth in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:06.58. Not only did this time earn Glish a high finish, but it broke the team's 100 individual medley record by two seconds. The previous record was also set by Glish earlier in the season.

Sophomore Ellyse Herr (Edison, OH/Mount Gilead) was the lone Fightin' Quaker to compete in the 400-yard individual medley. Herr finished seventh in the field with a time of 5:57.55.

Senior Haley Rowland (Fairborn, OH/Xenia Christian) achieved 13th place in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 21:18.07.

Houston, freshman Alyssa Rogers (Springfield, OH/Kenton Ridge), senior Elyse Spraul (Cincinnati, OH/Mount Notre Dame), and Glish came together to form the team's highest placing relay of the session, the 200-yard freestyle relay. The quartet finished third with a time of 1:47.59.

The same foursome competed in the 400-yard medley relay earlier in the session, coming in sixth-place with a time of 4:31.06.
