WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's soccer team could not shake its scoreless streak in a 3-0 loss to John Carroll University (JCU) in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action on Saturday evening.

JCU opened opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Jaclyn Audino headed home a cross from Brittany Dufalla. The Blue Streaks took the one-goal lead into halftime.

Dufalla would prove to be involved every goal scored on the evening as she broke free in the 55th minute and fired a low shot that beat Leda Moyer to the far post. Bailey Fischer scored the game's final goal at the 59:26 mark using a Dufalla pass.

The Wilmington offense put together 14 shot including seven on net, but couldn't break the over 640-minute scoreless drought dating back to Oct. 3.

Moyer made four saves in her final collegiate game while Danielle Delguidice earned a shutout victory making seven saves.

Wilmington concludes its 2018 season with an 8-9-0 overall record and a 2-7-0 mark in OAC competition.
