Wrestling Back in Action at ONU This Weekend

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team returns to the mat this weekend as its heads to Ada, Ohio, for the Ohio Northern University Invitational on Saturday. The action is slated to begin at 9 a.m.

The Teams: Wilmington College will be joined by several other teams throughout the surrounding states - Adrian College (Michigan), Alma College (Michigan), Defiance College (Ohio), Heidelberg University (Ohio), Lycoming College (Pennsylvania), Mount St. Joseph University (Ohio), Muskingum University (Ohio), Ohio Northern University and Ohio Wesleyan University. 

The Coach: Justin Kihn is in his second season as Wilmington's head wrestling coach. A 2016 graduate of Heidelberg, Kihn finished fourth nationally in the 141-pound weight class and earned All-American honors as a senior. Kihn is currently 0-2 in the OAC and placed eighth in their last tournament in Berea, Ohio.  

The Players: Wilmington will be sending nine individuals to wrestle in nine different weight classes -  Zack Gutknecht (125-pound), Adrian Salamone (141-pound), Clayton Schirmer (157-pound), Patrick Kelley (157-pound), Jaymon Flaugher (165-pond), Brennen Greene (165-pount), Spencer Dukes (174-pound), Arthur Yah (184-pound) , Seth Jermer (285-pound)
