Wrestling Opens 2019-20 Campaign at Adrian Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team opens its 2019-20 season at the Adrian Bulldogs Invitational hosted by Adrian College on Saturday. The invitational is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

The Teams: Wilmington will be joined by host Adrian along with the following institutions - Cleary University, Defiance College, Heidelberg University, Henry Ford University, the University of Mount Union, Muskegon Community College, Ohio Wesleyan University, the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford, Thiel College, Wabash College and the Toledo Wrestling Club.

The Coach: Justin Kihn enters his second season as Wilmington's head wrestling coach. A 2016 graduate of Heidelberg, Kihn finished fourth nationally in the 141-pound weight class and earned All-American honors as a senior.

The Players: Wilmington will be sending eight individuals to wrestle in seven different weight classes - Gabe Obregon (141-pound), Adrian Salomone (149-pound), Chris Beltre (149-pound), Clayton Schirmer (157-pound), Brennen Greene (165-pound), Jaymon Flaughter (165-pound), Patrick Kelley (174-pound) and Bruno Pattison (197-pound).
