NORTH MANCHESTER, Indiana - Brady Wilson and Seth Jermer represented the Wilmington College wrestling contingent at the Spartan Mat Duals hosted by Manchester University on Saturday.
In the 157-pound weight class, Wilson opened the tournament with a 13-4 major decision victory over Konner Bender of Indiana Tech University. Joel Arney of Manchester then defeated Wilson in an 11-2 major decision win in the following round. He then rebounded to defeat Quienton Ingram of Marian University by fall (2:07) before losing to Stephen Kitko of Manchester by decision (7-1) to conclude the tournament.
In the 285-pound weight class, Jermer fell to Josh MCCorkle of Bellarmine University 5-1 by decision and to Russell Demarco of Trine University 6-3 by decision in the consolation.
Wilmington travels to the OAC Quad Duals hosted by John Carroll University next weekend.
