Taylor Martin is in her first season as the women's lacrosse coach at Wilmington.
Martin comes to Wilmington after serving as the graduate assistant coach at Division III Castleton University. The Spartans were 24-13 in her two seasons on the sideline. She takes over from Bree Galloway, who left after one season.
"Taylor Martin will bring an infectious attitude that will serve the needs of the women's lacrosse program effectively," said Rupert. "Between her playing career and coaching experience, we believe that she is the right person continue building our program in the Ohio Athletic Conference."
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Martin worked with the LB3 Elite girls lacrosse team and has been a counselor with the Nike Lacrosse Camps.
Martin was a four-year starting goalkeeper at Division III Berry College. She was a team captain for the Vikings, and earned IWLCA Honor Roll honors. Additionally, she was awarded the conference's Sportsmanship Award.
