Brown Scores Goal in Women's Lacrosse Loss to Capital

WILMINGTON, Ohio - Rachel Brown scored the Wilmington College women's lacrosse team's lone goal in a 24-1 loss to Capital University in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action on Wednesday evening.

Capital came out quick against Wilmington this evening. In the first half, the Crusaders went on an 13-1 scoring run. Wilmington's lone goal came halfway through the first half on a score from Rachel Brown.

The Fightin' Quakers struggled to get anything going until the second half. The Crusdaers tacked on 11 more goals giving them the 24-1 win. Megan Wieloch had 11 saves on the evening, while Katie Hill was able to pick up four ground balls. Brownscored the lone Quaker goal.

Wilmington concludes its 2018 season with a trip to Muskingum University for an OAC game at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
