TIFFIN, Ohio – Becca Petra netted four goals for the Wilmington College women's lacrosse team at Heidelberg University on Friday, but the Student Princes outshot the Fightin' Quakers 40-15 en route to a 13-9 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) victory.

The two teams traded goals in the first 15 minutes as Heidelberg took a one-goal lead on two occasions, but Wilmington scored within two minutes each team as Petra netted the Quakers first goal at the 26:35 mark and Abby Engelhart scored via free position attempt midway through the first half. With the game tied 2-2, the Student Princes scored the game's next six goals over a 16-minute stretch which proved to be game-winning.

Wilmington did outscore Heidelberg in the second half 6-5 and got within three goals (11-8) with just under eight minutes remaining as Petra netted her second consecutive free position shot. The Student Princes scored two of the game's final three goals for the victory.

Along with the hosts shot edge, Heidelberg won 22-of-24 draw controls in the game. Wilmington did complete 12 clears to Heidelberg's eight, but the Quakers needed 27 clear attempts to do so while the Student Princes had 11 clear attempts.

Individually, Rachel Brown joined Petra in scoring multiple goals in the game with two while Engelhart and Kate Hill also found the back of the net. Megan Wieloch made 14 saves and faced 27 shots.

Angela Lulejian and Dana Dudley both tallied hat tricks in the game for Heidelberg.
