WILMINGTON, OH – The Wilmington College Fightin' Quakers women's Lacrosse team took on the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets this afternoon. Wilmington lost against Baldwin Wallace by a score of 18-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Baldwin Wallace was led by Maddie Russel in an impressive offensive first half this afternoon and scoring on three goals while assisting on another.
• Wilmington was held scoreless in the first half after only attempting one shot to Baldwin Wallace's 28 shots.
• In the second half Baldwin Wallace continued their offensive attack by adding six goals to their total on 21 shots.
• Defensively, junior Abby Englehart (Westerville, OH/North) was able to cause two turnovers and pick up three ground balls.
• Sophomore goalie, Megan Wieloch (Canton, MI/Plymouth) allowed eighteen goals while totaling 19 saves on the afternoon. Wieloch was also able to cause two turnovers and pick up four ground balls.

Wilmington (1-8) returns to action 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5th, competing at home against Ohio Northern in this season's third conference game.
