Bryson scores lone @WCWLax goal in loss

WESTERVILLE – The Wilmington College women's lacrosse team dropped it final Ohio Athletic Conference road game of the season, falling 16-1 Wednesday to Otterbein at Memorial Stadium.

"We forced a lot of turnovers on defense and took good shots at the end," said Wilmington head coach Brett Yenger. "We played through a lot of their weaknesses, but couldn't convert them into goals. We did a better job of adjusting to situations."

Otterbein committed 20 turnovers in the game, and Wilmington committed 32.

Junior Loryn Bryson (Carlisle, OH/Carlisle) scored Wilmington's lone goal of the game. She scored on the Fightin' Quakers' first shot of the game with 52 seconds remaining in the first half.

Freshman Jenni Caporale (Louisville, KY/Ballard) has two goals, while sophomore Kiki Hall (Westerville, OH/Central) and junior Rachel Routzong (Urbana, OH/Urbana) had a shot each.

Wilmington (3-12 overall, 1-4 OAC) concludes the 2015 season 1 p.m. Saturday, hosting Mount Union on Townsend Field at Williams Stadium.
