WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball hits the road for the final time during the 2018-19 regular season as the Quakers face Capital University for a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday.

The Teams: Wilmington and Capital. The Quakers are 11-12 overall and 6-10 in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play after a heartbreaking 97-85 double overtime loss at Marietta College on Saturday. The Crusaders are 14-9 on the year and 9-7 in conference competition after a slim 63-61 loss at Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 29th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, won his 500th career game earlier this season. Wilmington has claimed seven regular season conference championships under his guidance. Dixie Jeffers, who is in her 32nd season as Capital's head coach, led the Crusaders to consecutive national championships in the mid-1990s.

The Players: A trio of Quakers – McKayla Binkley, Kennedy Lewis and Mackenzie Campbell – all score in double figures. Binkley, who poured in a career-high 27 points in the double overtime loss at Marietta on Saturday, leads the team at 13.9 points per game. Lewis, one of the OAC leaders in assists at 4.0 per game, scores 12.4 points per contest while Campbell, who scored a season-high 20 points at Marietta, averages 10.2 points per game. Faith Teaford leads the rebounding department at 7.5 boards per contest. Erin Risner, who scored 31 points in the Crusaders' two-point loss at Baldwin Wallace, leads Capital in both scoring (12.7 points per game) and rebounding (7.5 points per game).

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 70.5, Capital 63.6; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 71.2, Capital 61.4; field goal percentage – Wilmington 40.8, Capital 42.6; three-point percentage – Wilmington 33.5, Capital 37.5; free throw percentage – Wilmington 73.3, Capital 69.9; rebounds per game – Wilmington 40.4, Capital 34.5; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.87, Capital 0.76.
