WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team hosts Otterbein University in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Basketball Game of the Week on Wednesday evening. Tip-off from Hermann Court is slated for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Otterbein. The Quakers are 7-6 on the season and 2-4 in the OAC after falling at John Carroll University 80-59 on Saturday. The Cardinals, who started the year 0-5, are also 7-6 on the season and 3-3 in conference play after a comeback 79-71 win over Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 29th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, recently won his 500th career game. Wilmington has claimed seven regular season conference championships under his guidance. Connie Richardson, a graduate of OAC member Heidelberg University, is in her 28th season leading the Cardinals' program.

The Players: Four Quakers score in double figures including McKayla Binkley who leads the team scoring 12.2 points per game. Kelly Noll, who once garnered OAC Player of the Week, scores 11.3 points per contest while leading the conference in three-point percentage at 58.5 percent. Kennedy Lewis, the OAC's leader in assists, leads the Quakers in assists per game at 4.7 while scoring 11.2 points per game. Mackenzie Campbell, who missed the first nine games of the year due to injury, scores 10 points per contest along with grabbing 3.3 rebounds and dishing out 2.7 assists. Faith Teaford leads the rebounding effort at 8.0 boards per game. Otterbein features the top two scores in the league as Dani Kissel (19.9 points per game) and Ali Cartnal (17.2 points per game) combine to score 53 percent of the Cardinals' points.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 69.9, Otterbein 70.0; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 70.0, Otterbein 65.0; field goal percentage – Wilmington 41.4, Otterbein 40.8; three-point percentage – Wilmington 36.7, Otterbein 36.3; free throw percentage – Wilmington 72.2, Otterbein 68.1; rebounds per game – Wilmington 41.8, Otterbein 34.3; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 0.97, Otterbein 1.00.
