WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team hosts Capital University in the final Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest of the 2018 calendar year on Wednesday. Tip-off from Fred Raizk Arena is slated for 7 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Capital. The Quakers are 5-4 overall and recently notched their first OAC victory with a 79-72 triumph over Marietta College on Saturday. The Crusaders started the season 6-0, but have lost their last three games including 62-52 at Scranton University on Sunday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 29th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, recently won his 500th career game. Wilmington has claimed seven regular season conference championships under his guidance. Dixie Jeffers, who is in her 32nd season as Capital's head coach, led the Crusaders to consecutive national championships in the mid-1990s.

The Players: Wilmington features a balanced scoring attack as three Quakers – McKayla Binkley, Kennedy Lewis and Kelly Noll – all average double figures in scoring while Faith Teaford, Hannah Binkley and Savannah Hooper all score between 7-9 points per game. Teaford nearly averages a double-double per game as the sophomore grabs 8.6 rebounds per contest. Noll and McKayla Binkley both grab over 4.5 rebounds as well while Kennedy Lewis dishes out a team-high 4.3 assists per game. The Capital trio of Erin Risner, Regan Stonerock and Elle Folan all score in double figures. Stonerock leads the squad with 9.2 boards per contest.

Tale of the Tape: Points per game – Wilmington 71.9, Capital 60.8; opponents' points per game – Wilmington 69.0, Capital 60.4; field goal percentage – Wilmington 41.9, Capital 42.9; three-point percentage – Wilmington 40.1, Capital 34.1; free throw percentage – Wilmington 71.2, Capital 68.0; rebounds per game – Wilmington 42.3, Capital 31.6; assist-to-turnover ratio – Wilmington 1.08, Capital 0.77.

OAC Player of the Week: Kelly Noll is the reigning OAC Player of the Week. The junior scored a career-high 27 points on 9-of-12 shooting in Wilmington's 79-72 win over Marietta last Saturday.
