WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team heads to Richmond, Indiana, for the Quaker Bowl Rivalry with Earlham College on Wednesday evening. Tip-off from Schuckman Court is slated for 5:30 p.m.
The Teams: Wilmington and Earlham. The Fightin' Quakers are 3-1 on the season after defeating North Central College 74-70 and Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) member Hanover College 88-77 to claim the 2018 Fred Raizk Memorial Tournament title. The Hustlin' Quakers are 0-2 after road losses at St. Mary's College (Indiana) 65-52 and at Alma College 69-54.
The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 29th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, has amassed over 475 career victories along with seven regular season conference championships. Shauna Watson is in her second season as Earlham's head coach. The Quakers qualified for the HCAC Tournament for the first time in school history under her guidance last season.
The Players: Wilmington features a balanced scoring attack as four Quakers – McKayla Binkley, Kennedy Lewis, Hannah Binkley and Faith Teaford – all average double figures in scoring. Kelly Noll, who scored all 17 of her points in the fourth quarter comeback win over North Central, scores 9.8 points per game. Teaford nearly averages a double-double per game as the sophomore grabs 9.8 rebounds per contest. Noll and McKayla Binkley both grab over four rebounds as well while Kennedy Lewis dishes out a team-high 4.5 assists per game. Zoe Curtis and Camryn White both score in double figures for Earlham. Curtis also leads the team in rebounding with six boards per game.

Quaker Bowl Rivalry: The athletics departments of Wilmington and Earlham have re-created the Quaker Bowl rivalry. Originally a traveling trophy for just football and men's basketball, the bowl will now be competed for across all sports the two schools compete in. This year's standings are tied 3-3 while Wilmington won the bowl last year, defeating Earlham 10-2 in head-to-head contests.
