AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's basketball team was picked to finish eighth in the annual Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll, released by the conference on Wednesday.
The Fightin' Quakers tallied 32 points after finishing last season in a tie for seventh place. Baldwin Wallace University was picked by the coaches as the preseason favorite with 74 points and four first-place votes. Defending champion Ohio Northern University was picked to finish third (59 points) despite receiving zero first-place votes. A complete poll is below.

Wilmington opens its 2018-19 season by hosting the Damon's/Hampton Inn Tip-off Tournament on Nov. 16-18. The Quakers will play Grove City College (Pennsylvania) on Friday, Nov. 16 followed by Kenyon College on Sunday, Nov. 18.
