WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team returns to Hermann Court for the second-to-last time during the 2017-18 season on Saturday as the Fightin' Quakers host Marietta College for a 3 p.m. tip-off.

The Teams: Wilmington and Marietta. The Quakers are an even 11-11 overall and 6-9 in conference play after a 63-45 loss at Otterbein University on Wednesday. The Pioneers, who are having their best season in program history, sit at 19-3 overall and 12-3 in the OAC after an 80-67 win over Capital University on Wednesday.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 28th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, has amassed over 450 career victories. Kole Vivian is in his sixth season on the Marietta sidelines including his second as head coach.

The Players: Mackenzie Campbell leads Wilmington in scoring at 14.0 points per game while also grabbing the second-most rebounds (6.9) on the team and dishing out 2.7 assists per game. Savannah Hooper, who also averages 2.7 assists per game, is second on the squad in scoring at 9.0 points per game. Hannah Binkley and Emily Harman, the team's leading rebounder at 7.0 boards per contest, both score 6.3 points per game. Brooke Borich and Amisha Herd score in double figures for the Pioneers. Corrie Burkhardt leads the squad in rebounding at 8.3 boards per contest.

OAC Tournament: Marietta is in second place in the OAC and two games behind league-leading Ohio Northern University. Wilmington currently sits in seventh place. The top eight teams qualify for the OAC Tournament later this month.
