WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team concludes the first half of Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play when the Fightin' Quakers host Otterbein University for a 7:30 p.m. contest at Hermann Court on Wednesday.

The Teams: Wilmington and Otterbein. The Quakers are 8-7 overall and 3-5 in OAC play after a 73-67 loss at John Carroll University on Wednesday. The Cardinals are 7-8 overall and also carry a 3-5 mark in conference after an 87-63 loss to Baldwin Wallace University.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 28th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, has amassed over 450 career victories. Connie Richardson is in her 27th season has head women's basketball coach at Otterbein. The 1986 Heidelberg University graduate has accumulated over 300 victories.

The Players: Mackenzie Campbell leads the Quakers in scoring at 14.1 points per game while also grabbing 6.3 rebounds and dishing out nearly three assists per contest. Emily Harman leads the squad in rebounding at 7.0 boards per contest while McKayla Binkley and Savannah Hooper both score nearly 8.0 points per game. The Cardinal trio of Kiersten Taylor, Dani Kissel and Ali Cartnal all score in double figures and combine to score over 39.0 points per game.

1,000-Point Club: Mackenzie Campbell became the 13th women's basketball player to score 1,000 career points as she crossed the plateau against Capital University earlier this month.
