WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's basketball team hits the road on Saturday for its final Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) contest of 2017 as the Fightin' Quakers will take on Marietta College on Saturday. Tip-off from Ban Johnson Arena is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Teams: Wilmington and Marietta. The Quakers are 5-2 overall and 2-1 in OAC play after a thrilling 70-68 win at Heidelberg University on Saturday. The Pioneers, ranked No. 21 in the most recent d3hoops.com Top 25 poll, are undefeated and 7-0 this season. They are coming off of road victories at Baldwin Wallace University and John Carroll University.

The Coaches: Jerry Scheve is in his 28th season as head coach of the Wilmington women's basketball program. Scheve, who guided the Quakers to the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2004, has amassed over 450 career victories. Kole Vivian is in his sixth season on the Marietta sidelines including his second as head coach.

The Players: Mackenzie Campbell leads Wilmington scoring at 14.3 points per game and is second on the team in rebounding at 6.6 boards per contest. McKayla Binkley and Savannah Hooper both average nearly 10.0 points per game. Marietta features a balanced scoring attack as four Pioneers score between 10-13 points per game. Corrie Burkhart, who averages 10.9 points per game, leads the team in rebounding with 8.6 boards per contest. Amisha Herd, who dishes out over four-and-a-half assists per game, scores nearly a dozen points per game.
