Sawyer Hooper enters her second season as an assistant softball coach at Wilmington College in 2020.
Alongside Head Coach Beth Floyd, Hooper helped the Fightin' Quakers to an 18-14 overall record in 2019, the program's second winning season in two decades. Additionally, the program's 6-12 OAC record is the second-best (8-10 in 2014) record in Wilmington's 19 years in the league.
A 2018 graduate of Wilmington, Hooper was a four-year member of the Fightin' Quakers softball program having appeared in 104 games. She holds a career batting average of .307 along with hitting a .404 clip during her seniro season. Mainly a catcher, Hooper threw out 10 runners attempting to steal during her career.
She resides in Leesburg.
