CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The Wilmington College softball team won both games of a doubleheader against Ohio University Chillicothe on Sunday, winning game one 13-0 in five innings and the nightcap 11-2 in six innings.

Starting pitcher Grace Shell allowed just two hits in the shutout victory while striking out five batters. Ohio Chillicothe got a runner to third base just once in the game.

The top and bottom of Wilmington's lineup produced in game one as Crager finished 2-for-2 with four RBIs and two runs scored at the top of the order while Sawyer Hooper went 2-for-3 with three runs scored. Dixon also turned in a multi-hit contest.

In game two, the Quakers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first on RBI-hits from Dixon, Jillia Cook and Mariyah Burkhardt. Ohio Chillicothe got one run back in the third, but a four-run fourth inning that saw Wilmington bat around put the game out of reach.
