The Wilmington College men's cross country team played host to the JennaStrong Fall Classic Friday afternoon. The annual meet honors fallen teammate Jenna Parlette who collapsed while in the lead of a race her junior year (2013). The event brought 30 teams, many individual runners, and Wilmington alumni to Wilmington's campus this year. In the field, the Fightin' Quakers finished 19th- with all of the scoring members of the team finishing in the top half of the field.

  • Freshman Ryan Honkomp (Maineville, OH/Little Miami) and senior Cameron Erwin (South Vienna, OH/Northeastern) crossed the finish line within two seconds, and one place, of each other. Honkomp finished in 28:39.5 to earn 111th-place, while Erwin ran in for 112th-place with a time of 28:41.0.
